Besides the circumference of Apple’s mid-section, not much is too different around camp. The little chicken eggs that we left in December have hatched and we now have a bunch of peeping chicks.
The mother hen doesn’t mess around though…she practically bit my finger off when I got too close.
Also, there is building going on in order to have more rooms in camp to accommodate the different groups that will be coming through.
At the moment there is a helicopter survey team in camp. There are two Italian men, one Vietnamese man, and one South African man that make up the team. The helicopter is flying over the Nimini license and collecting electro-magnetic information with what is essentially a large hoop hanging from it.
I’m hoping for a ride up in the chopper before they go!!
