I feel like I’m still trying to get up to speed with the holidays. Alastair’s family has their tree up and the stockings hung.
Bertie gets the biggest stocking apparently.
Lucky dog :)
Al and I had to make a trip into London to meet up with CEO of the company who own the project in Sierra Leone, but that just gave us an opportunity to also seek out Alastair’s sister Ruth for a visit on her lunch break. All the shoppers were out and about in the city.
She happened to be on her way to a carol service and so after a quick lunch we went along with her.
It was a short, but very nice service with some of my favorite hymns, and afterward they served mulled wine and mince pies…yum.
The train brought us back to Marlow and it’s only one more night of festivities before I fly home to Boston tomorrow.
