Gold spotting. And, no, I don’t mean Alastair’s goldilocks.
Alastair’s company is one based in the exploration of gold. He has lines cut through the bush in the Nimini Hills, takes samples, analyzes them, finds the places to drill out long tubes of core, analyzes those, then compiles all that data to determine where it would be profitable to mine in the future.
The camp holds thousands and thousands of meters of core. Many of those have small concentrations of gold like this one.
That’s the stuff.
I’m starting to learn a bit more about the whole process of finding gold. At least, I am no longer imagining enormous nuggets of gold being pulled out of the ground.
