I took a trip into the bush to see the fieldwork being done by Alastair’s company. I would love, at this time, to espouse deep, geological knowledge to describe what I’ve seen out there but unfortunately, the information deflects off my brain and never absorbs, much to Alastair’s dismay. Therefore, I have to rely on the pictures to paint a bit of the picture. The bush is thick jungle and they have cleared areas to be trenched, which lends a closer look at the rock underneath. It is clearly a mineral-rich region. Alastair was undeniably in his element, and that was fun to see.
